Member, Diversity Committee
Lincoln School

Recipient of The Glasgow Group's
2016 Diversity Practitioners Medal of Honor

Sterling Clinton Spellman is a speaker, best-selling author, innovative business coach, consultant and all-around leader known for her servant’s heart. She is the CEO of Polished and creator of the Speak2Market Academy where she teaches entrepreneurs, authors and coaches how to increase their income, influence and impact. She also is the founder  of the Polished Lifestyle Community that provides women with the tools, resources, network, and support  to encourage their big, bold, out of this world, visions, dreams and ideas. In July she launched the Polished Lifestyle TV, where she showcases and celebrates women who are leading and shining brightly! She has co-authored 3 books and will be publishing her 4th book at the end of this year.

As an entrepreneur at heart with a genuine passion for reinforcing the value of women embracing their God given gifts and living a Polished Lifestyle, Sterling has dedicated her life to empowering women and girls to pursue their dreams. To date, she has done this primarily through creating highly acclaimed workshops, seminars, retreats and speaking engagements that serve as peerless forums for women seeking the path to success. Behind her vibrant smile and infectious positive energy is an impassioned professional with years of insight and expertise in coaching people to envision their gifts and reach their full potential. Today, Sterling loves nothing more than to share her own strategies and stories of success to others who are serious about "Dreaming Awake."

The source of Sterling’s energy and encouragement comes from her own powerful personal story, overcoming race, gender and age-related issues that led to a boundless desire to share her story with others. Today, Sterling has touched the lives of hundreds of women and girls  facing the same issues she herself has had to overcome, and nothing brings her more satisfaction than the opportunity to reach out to others and inspire a sense of hope and courage that she spent years searching for on her own path to success.

Sterling also co-owns The Salad Man and Juice Bar with her husband, Russell Spellman, and she is the mother to an 18 month baby girl. Before starting independent consulting, Sterling, an alum of Lincoln School, served as the Director of its Center for Peace, Equity and Justice through Service, and she continues to serve on the school's Diversity Committee.
