Common Threads: An Educators Retreat for Women of Color
April 24-26, 2026
In person in Ocean City, NJ
Soul. Sisters.
Understanding that women of color face unique joys and challenges in the field of education, this professional development retreat was designed specifically with you in mind! Retreat guests will have an opportunity to deepen their passion and skills as educators while sharing in the collective wisdom of the group. What drives us to be educators and leaders, and what skills and resources will we need to meet the challenges of today's professional world as women of color?
Alongside professional growth, this gathering offers space for reflection, connection, and renewal. The retreat is led by women of color with long-standing, successful tenures as leaders in independent schools.
All events will be held at a shared retreat space, with lodging included in the registration, in Ocean City, NJ. Schedule runs from 7pm on April 24 (dinner included) through 12pm on April 26 (lunch included). All meals included.
