Deborra Sines Pancoe

Deborra Sines Pancoe is Associate Director for the Friends Council on Education, where she works to nurture the Quaker heart of Friends schools through workshops and consultations. Deborra is an educator with over thirty years of experience in independent schools, including Friends Select (Phila. PA) and Abington Friends School (PA). Deborra has been a division director, a dean, a department chair, Quakerism and diversity teacher and coordinator of community outreach programs. Deborra is a trained SEED facilitator (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity) and trainer for Beyond Diversity 101. Deborra is an social activist and participates in public life by holding an elected position on the Borough Council of Jenkintown. She sings with Tribe 1 – an ensemble of musicians, poets and drummers performing music of growth, transformation and Spirit.
